Take Advantage of an Internship at CAHS
Join the Connecticut Association for Human Services (CAHS) in our mission to end poverty and engage, equip and empower all families in Connecticut to build a secure future. CAHS offers internship and work study opportunities, which will allow you to learn more about important issues and build your skills, while helping a busy non-profit improve the quality of life for Connecticut residents.
Undergraduate and graduate students from Connecticut and out-of-state universities and colleges have joined CAHS as interns. Interns can gain experience and skills in such areas as policy analysis, research, advocacy, community outreach, grant writing, and information technology. Interns can work on diverse issues, including early care and education, health care, hunger and nutrition, financial education, work supports, tax policy, and other poverty reduction strategies at the federal, state, and local levels.
If you are interested in exploring an internship with CAHS, please contact Elizabeth Fraser at firstname.lastname@example.org

Join CAHS as a Volunteer
CAHS welcomes individuals who wish to volunteer their time. We have worked with volunteers who are new to the field and want to build their skills and resume, as well as more experienced workers who wish to contribute their knowledge and expertise. CAHS would greatly benefit from volunteers with a background in areas such as marketing, design, technology, and fundraising.
Volunteer opportunities are also available across the state with our Connecticut Money School and our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Please click on the links above to learn more about the volunteer opportunities available through these projects.
